Marilyn

Marilyn Monroe still remains one of the most gorgeous and beautiful women who went down in history. She is an icon of the times when women were shaped like women. She is one the most unique comedic talents to ever see the screen, combining comedy with pathos. And of course her own beauty, extremely fragile and yet tough made her irresistable to watch. Her talents and unique style would never fade away.
However, have you ever thought of Marilyn Monroe was alive today she would be something about 85 years. You can't help but wonder what she would be doing. Sometimes I feel like that was her luck to die young and beautiful to make history and become a legendary woman, than to sink into oblivion. How can be sad and even tragic to grow old, lose beauty and world-wide fame. I have been thinking about that a lot lately. Getting old is no fun at all. It may have sence to live to a venerable age only if you would be among loving children and grandchildren, with a real luggage of good deeds.
............................................................................
With best wishes, Alexandra.

  2. wonderful post, I admire this beautiful and fragile women, she had that something.
Getting old can be difficult but is natural. I wouldn't want to look the same all my life and who would want to be hit on by man too young for us? Getting old is a natural process.

  4. i believe that it was her luck to die young and beautiful too. leaving such a legacy. and yes, back then, women were shaped like women. these days, everyone including myself, just wants to be skinnier and thinner because thats depicted as the 'beautiful' of today.

thank you for the comment and follow on my blog :) returning the favor!

What you gain by age is wisdom and new insights. You will notice that you don't actually lose beauty, but it just turns into different type of beauty.

  23. Marilyn was beautiful, but I think that beauty was both a gift and a curse; a double-edged sword, if you will. She got to where she was because of her looks, but because of that, she was also derided. I always feel bad when I heard how badly she wanted to be taken seriously as an actress. Nevertheless, I love this post--what a wonderful tribute to a gorgeous, but troubled young woman that was taken from us far too soon!

  25. What a beauty, inside and out. I agree with you. It does seem like fate for her to die so young and beauty and leave this legacy behind. Would she remembered so fondly had she lived into her old age? Lovely post xx
